Breast Implant Shapes and Sizes

There are so many shapes and sizes, what will you do to help me figure out the best implant for me at the consultation?

We believe that breast augmentation is a very sophisticated procedure and requires a great deal of analysis and planning to achieve the most desirable outcomes for our patients. Our approach begins with a thorough discussion of your goals. We then measure your natural breast anatomy and take notice of any asymmetry. Taking into consideration your overall health, we then formulate a plan that is consistent with the goals you have laid out for your breasts. For many patients, achieving the goal breast cup is the most important factor to achieve a high level of satisfaction. Sizing of the breast is therefore critically important for most patients. We highly recommend the Volume Sizing System which is known as the most accurate way to preview your size.

Yes! Our versatility and expertise is demonstrated through our before and after breast augmentation photos. Many patients have a much easier time with surgery and recovery when they have identified before and after breast augmentation photos of other patients they like on the photo gallery. This gives them the opportunity to see how different breast implant sizes and shapes can give women attractive and beautiful breast results.

Will your team help me try on breast implants at my consultation?

Will the Mentor® Implant Sizing system help me gauge my after size?

Mentor®’s Volume Sizing System (VSS) is an extremely useful step for sizing a patient’s desired breast cup whether you are getting saline breast implants or silicone breast implants. The system is designed to provide you with a realistic preview of breast size. It has been shown to be a more accurate method of sizing a breast implant patient than 3D imaging, breast sizers, and even rice bags. The system can help many patients get the most accurate preview possible without committing to surgery. There is no system that is perfect, but patients find this method extremely easy to use and helpful when trying to gauge a particular cup with the most accuracy.

Can I use the Mentor® Implant Sizing system even though I might choose silicone or saline breast implants?

Mentor®’s Volume Sizing System (VSS) is an extremely useful step for sizing a patient’s desired breast cup whether you are getting saline or silicone breast implants. The sizing system is easy to use and gives patients more confidence when choosing their goal size. There is no way to perfectly predict size and shape but the sizing system demonstrates that it is the most accurate way to preview a desired result.

    Double board-certified plastic surgeon Jonathan Dang, MD offers one (1) free consultation or one (1) free virtual consultation for new qualified patients with a credit card on file who are interested in: Rhinoplasty, Facelift/Necklift, Brow Lift, Eyelid Surgery, Ear Surgery, Chin Implants, Gynecomastia, Labiaplasty, Liposuction 360, Liposuction, Tummy Tuck, Mommy Makeover, Body Lift, Thigh Lift, Arm Lift, Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Breast Implant Exchange, Breast Revision, Breast Implant Removal, Breast Reduction, and Minimally Invasive In-Office Procedures (including Labiaplasty, Neck Liposuction, Upper Lid Blepharoplasty, Dimpleplasty, and Fat Transfer to the Face).

    Dr. Dang also offers revision surgery consultations for a $100 non-refundable fee (charged at the time of scheduling) for the following procedures: revision rhinoplasty, revision facelift, revision tummy tuck, revision arm lift, revision eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), scar revision, and dog-ear removal. This $100 fee may be applied toward your surgical quote if you proceed with surgery.

    Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy
    A minimum of two (2) business days’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your in-office consultation or virtual consultation. Failure to provide adequate notice or a no-show will result in a $100 fee charged to the credit card on file.

    If you have already used your free consultation, a $100 non-refundable fee is required for a second consultation. This $100 fee may be applied toward your surgical quote if you proceed with surgery.

    Non-Surgical Procedures
    A $25 non-refundable appointment fee is required for all non-surgical procedures. Two (2) business days’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule to avoid this fee.
