Why should you choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for your breast augmentation?

History shows that board certified plastic surgeons were the creators of the original breast implants. Plastic surgeons have researched these devices and assisted in improving safety and efficiency. Board certified plastic surgeons undergo years of extensive training in the use of breast implants. They also learn to identify the subtleties involved in the care and management of breast augmentation patients. It is this kind of training and know-how, that gives patients additional confidence when they put their trust in a plastic surgeon.

Why do you have so many breast augmentation photos, is it because you specialize in breast augmentation?

Year after year, our office has performed hundreds of breast augmentations with each having it’s own unique experience and personal result. Our extensive before and after breast augmentation photo gallery demonstrates how Dr. Aldo’s extraordinary work continuously exceeds patients’ expectations. Specializing in breast augmentation is not only important for developing an extensive photo gallery, but new patients see the many different kinds of breast augmentation results. Women vary in height, shape, and in breast anatomyWe understand how important it is for you to see all the different variations we have seen throughout the years, as well as the different types of breast implants to choose from, like silicone and saline, and different shapes.

What education and training did you receive to a board certified plastic surgeon?

Plastic surgeons have to undergo years of schooling at an undergraduate university and then in medical school. At each step, they have to perform well so they can continue to advance and obtain additional training. Typically, this takes about 8 years and that’s before starting residency. Residency is the most important learning period is a surgeon’s life. This is when most doctors begin to learn how to take care of patients and also learn how to perform operations. Residency is very demanding and challenging. Only those at the top of their class continue in their training and get the opportunity to finish. In total, residency for Dr. Aldo was a total of 6 years, which included 2 years of extensive plastic surgery training. A fully trained plastic surgeon must then passed a series of rigorous examinations to prove competency to finally become board certified.

Which breast implant do you recommend?

Our best recommendation comes after we know a patient’s goals including the desired breast cup, shape, and the amount of cleavage. We then perform a very careful analysis of the patient’s anatomy including identification of any asymmetry, breast volume and skin elasticity. All these factors are then considered into formulating a recommendation for a particular breast implant type (silicone breast implants or saline breast implants) and then a choice from the different shapes like high profile, moderate and moderate plus, MM, MM+, MH, TM+ and LM+. To give some perspective, in the last 2 years over 90 percent of breast implants placed have been silicone.

What makes your practice different from other plastic surgeons?

What makes us stand out from the rest is our commitment to making sure you receive the customized care and safety with amazing results.

Breast augmentation is a sophisticated operation that requires detailed planning in order to achieve the best outcomes all while reducing complications. Most physicians will oversimplify the operation avoiding the important information you need to know. We take the time to listen to our patients before making any recommendations on a certain implant type or cup size.

Our patients repeatedly come back to us to tell us how empowered they felt in choosing their ideal breast implant because of our approach.

Why do you use new technology like the Keller Funnel®?

In addition to using only accredited facilities and highly-trained anesthesiologists, we use only cutting edgy technology in order to improve a patient’s outcome. The Keller Funnel® is one of those technologies. It offers several important advantages, when compared to other methods used, as it places the breast implants inside the body. These include use of a no-touch technique, smaller incisions and less trauma to the tissue and breast implant during insertion. We, very carefully, choose all the equipment and medications needed during our breast implants operations. Using evidence-based medicine, we have identified the operative steps which have the greatest impact towards achieving the best results. In addition to using the Keller Funnel®, we also use several medications which reduce pain after the operation while improving the overall experience for our patients.

Dr. Aldo highly recommends the Keller Funnel®.
